I was asked to embellish a piece of the collection Zwischenzeiten füllen Träume - Auf Reisen mit der Geschwindigkeit by Martina Öttl (2019-2023). I used remaining wool from the knitting process to capture and emphasize the design features of lines and dots, reoccurring elements in the collection.
the three-piece-series Blütenteppich is my attempt to approach the themes of wanderlust, pace, dreams and longing, while emphasizing the beauty and fragility of the materials.
